Our Founder
A Knoxville, TN native, Alfie Rowan is the founder of Rowan Hall Interiors, which she began in 2001. Rowan is a Southern girl who has discovered she’s happiest tucked in a cabin on the western slopes.
She gets her aesthetic from travel, an aunt who always knew the perfect Farrow and Ball paint for any room, her life as the married mother of two boys, and birds. Owls, herons, peacocks–Alfie loves them, and she doesn’t discriminate. If clients hate them, it is best to clarify that from the beginning. Otherwise, there will be a few framed in the house, on fabric, or sneaking into wallpaper. Alfie is backed by a team of professionals who share her sensibilities, while broadening her perspectives.

Every Rowan Hall Interiors design is a collaboration of visionary creatives who know scale, fabric, performance and style. Our Knoxville, TN interior designers are passionate about bringing warmth and comfort to every home we are graciously welcomed into. We strive to bring professionalism and personality to every task. Our team’s discerning eye, knowledge of interior design, and love of what we do make us the RHI Dream Team.
Kasia Golec
Executive Project Coordinator
Kasia is Rowan Hall’s Executive Project Coordinator, otherwise known as Alfie’s right hand. She works behind the scenes to keep the business running smoothly, a job that she’s become an expert in over the last five years with Rowan Hall. She’s originally from Poland and loves to share her Polish culture with the Rowan Hall team. However, she’s also become equally passionate about American culture, embracing Tennessee Football and July 4th festivities.
Her love for holidays, especially Christmas, has made her the perfect lead for Rowan Hall’s seasonal decorations team. In the office she hides in her corner, running our administrative accounts, but she blooms like a flower when she hears the word “install.” She’s the queen of styling bookshelves, fluffing pillows and making sure every detail is perfect before the big reveal. Kasia loves gardening and cooking and her family, who she lives with in Farragut, Tennessee. The Rowan Hall team wouldn’t be complete without her!
Rowan Hall Interiors’ Project Manager, Karen Brackett, brings organization and diligence to every job. She stays busy coordinating custom furniture orders, making sure installers are coming to hang those custom window treatments, communicating with contractors and vendors on a daily basis, and more. An integral part of our Knoxville interior design team, her expertise comes from experience working with general contractors over the past 10 years, managing projects both residential and commercial. When away from the office, she enjoys being outside with her partner, Sean, and their two fur babies, Charlie and Merckx, where they reside in historic Sweetwater, Tennessee.

Rowan Hall Interiors’ Project Manager, Karen Brackett, brings organization and diligence to every job. She stays busy coordinating custom furniture orders, making sure installers are coming to hang those custom window treatments, communicating with contractors and vendors on a daily basis, and more. An integral part of our Knoxville interior design team, her expertise comes from experience working with general contractors over the past 10 years, managing projects both residential and commercial. When away from the office, she enjoys being outside with her partner, Sean, and their two fur babies, Charlie and Merckx, where they reside in historic Sweetwater, Tennessee.

Michelle Luna is the smiling face that keeps Rowan Hall on track. Her experience working in administration makes her the perfect asset for scheduling and client communications. She ensures that paint consultations run smoothly, keeps Alfie sane and helps on interior styling days. Michelle was born in Kansas and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee as a teenager where she graduated from the University of Tennessee. She and her husband of 24 years, Grant, have two wonderful kids, Davis (22) and Sophia (20) and two pups that she adores. When she’s not keeping Rowan Hall organized she loves to play tennis, hike and go to the beach.
